Hanzemuseum.  Museum focussing on the rich past of the town as part of the German Hansa and the life of German traders in medieval Bergen.  Housed in an original building of 1704 that belonged to the Hansa.  More info: www.museumvest.no.

Fisheries Museum.  Located in historical warehouses at the waterfront.  Museum about the sea and fishing.  Just outside the town center.  More info:  www.museumvest.no.

Haakon's hall.  One of the oldest buildings in Bergen dating back to the 13th century, constructed for king Håkon Håkonsson.  This hall was multifunctional and was used for banquets, official affairs,...  More info: www.bymuseet.no.

Schøtstuene.  These old houses between the historical quarter Bryggen and the Mariakirken belonged to the traders of the Hansa and had several functions (among other things as meeting rooms,...).  They have now been arranged and furnished in the same way as they should have looked like in the high days of the town.  This museum is part of the Hansa museum that is located near the quay.  More info: www.museumvest.no.
