Cultural De Panne
Tram museum.
Already since the foundation of the coastal resort at the end of
the 19th century, public transport was arranged between the
railway station of Adinkerke and the center of De Panne.
In 1901 already there was a tram, first horse-drawn, later on a
steam tram and eventually an electric one. In the old
depot of De Panne several antique trams and wagons are being
maintained and restored. You can have a look at them
during the weekends in July and August and also on special
occasions. On those days, there are also rides with the
historic trams.

Nostalgic
Media Museum.
An overwhelming
collection of antique radios, television sets, telephones,...
that's the nostalgic media museum. This museum is the
result of a private collection of all kinds of audiovisual
material that stretches a timeline of more than a hundred years.
It's incredible how extended the collection is. The
managers themselves are happy to give you background information
on any piece displayed. Very interesting, original,
educational and surprising. Only open the last Saturday
afternoon of each month.
